About Edward
I combine years of teaching martial arts, meditation, and beginner rope bondage with an underlying philosophy of connection and love. I believe that an open heart allows for the most intimate connection to occur.
A lot of beginners assume that you need to know complicated ties to start doing rope bondage. I love dispelling that myth and teaching you how you can have a hot connection with your partner with a simple tie and an open heart. I teach understandable and clear step-by-step instructions on basic rope tying (or more advanced techniques if you already know the ropes a bit!). It’s amazing what you can do with your partner with just a few simple ties. I’ll show you these possibilities, AND the most important part - how to stay deeply connected and aware, with safe, hot, and clear communication through it all. Rope bondage can be simple or complicated - but it’s opening your imagination that really creates the magic! Click HERE to read what students say about Knot Love. |
Edward has been teaching beginner rope bondage since 2015, began practicing Aikido in 1995, loved knots since he was a Boy Scout, and has been teaching the open-hearted movement mediation Sheng Zhen since 2006. He believes that in addition to the Japanese terms shibari & kinbaku, the word musubi is important. Musubi means to unite or bind together. Learning to connect with rope in this way can bring a new level of joy, intimacy, and understanding to your relationship.
